Where is the best location for me to put these shelters?

In a general location for all employees/occupants to have a quick entry time.

Do you all build and install below ground commercial shelters?

Yes! We can manufacture any type of shelter a client wants, keeping in mind that below ground is incredibly difficult to enter in the moment of hurry and panic. Clients should always keep in mind the ease of access for their occupants and the potential safety risk of someone hurriedly going down stairs to get into a storm shelter.

Do I need back up power?

No! We can always provide our clients with a ‘bare bones’ unit that will meet FEMA’s ventilation requirements and battery operated lights therefore rendering back up power useless.

Why do I have to have a toilet?

Per FEMA and ICC 500’s guidelines, a restroom is required

What is the difference between a solar panel and a generator?

Ultimately both options provide back up power to a client’s lights and ventilation. We advise if the shelter will be installed in a sunny location, go ahead and go with the solar panel! If the desired install location is in a shaded area, or indoors, that doesn’t get any sunlight, we suggest a generator.

What is the cost?

We try to make Commercial storm shelters as affordable for clients as possible. In doing so, we average around $850 per occupant

Can I move my commercial storm shelter?

Sure! However, it is a very expensive and exhausting process to do so. Because of this, we offer a transitional unit that can be relocated for a lesser cost.

Can I lease a commercial storm shelter?

Yes! We offer leasing for Commercial Storm Shelters up to a 10’ x 48’ for a minimum of 12 months.
