We don’t have a basement so this was the next best thing! Thank you Jake Reynolds for working with me and helping through the process!! Karen Caswell September 22, 2026 Very professional and excellent workmanship.. would recommend highly! Also very friendly and prompt in installation! Floatpool September 18, 2026 My wife and I moved back to Missouri after being out west for 30 years. On our 38th anniversary April 15, 2026 an F-0 that turned into an F-1 hit our new home and gave us two trees in the roof. We both grew up in the midwest and we always had a basement to go to, but this day we had NO WHERE to go. It's not a good feeling. We ordered our shelter through Lowe's. We went through another close call while we were waiting on delivery, as another tornado passed within 1/4 mile of us. Our shelter took about 8 weeks to get here, the driver from SAIA helped me slide it in place and it took me 45 min to bolt it down. Now we're not worried as much when a storm comes in. We have since shown our neighbors this shelter, and I think one of them is getting the same model that we have, the 4 person size. P.S: I got my wife some firewood and a new roof for our anniversary. Fred Clark September 17, 2026 Had a hard time finding an installer, your company should have a list of qualified installers to contact. Tina Burd September 15, 2026 Great service and easy installation. ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` ``` #### Latest Blog Articles [](https://survive-a-storm.com/blog/fall-tornado-protection/) ### [Fall Tornado Season Is Real: Why Fall Tornado Protection Matters](https://survive-a-storm.com/blog/fall-tornado-protection/) If… [](https://survive-a-storm.com/blog/commercial-tornado-shelter-manufacturers/) ### [How to Evaluate Commercial Tornado Shelter Manufacturers Before You Trust Them With Your Employees](https://survive-a-storm.com/blog/commercial-tornado-shelter-manufacturers/) Buying… [](https://survive-a-storm.com/blog/tornado-shelters-new-homes-standard-or-optional/) ### [Tornado Shelters in New Homes: Standard Feature or Optional Upgrade?](https://survive-a-storm.com/blog/tornado-shelters-new-homes-standard-or-optional/) There’s… [View All Blog Articles](https://survive-a-storm.com/blog/) [# StormWarn Powered by WeatherCall NexGen Learn about our phone and text tornado warning alert system.](/stormwarn/) ##### TO SURVIVE A VIOLENT STORM YOU HAVE TO KNOW IT’S COMING.
