Saving lives = Humbled and Honored

Saving lives is what we do.  One thing we have learned over the last several years is that being a part of something bigger than ourselves is a humbling and exciting endeavor.  The employees of Survive-a-Storm are buzzing with excitement over the recent article that talks about how the lives of over 70 people were spared because they sought refuge in one of our community shelters installed three years prior.  According to the article, the community shelter, which is designed to meet the 40 person guidelines of FEMA, held over 70 people on November 29, 2016.

The pride level over the work each one of us are doing levels up every time we hear about how what we do makes a difference in the lives of our customers.  From our welders and painters and construction team, to our sales staff who are reaching out to our potential customers—we just want to work harder and continue to protect the lives of the people who trust us to do so.  Everyone at Survive-a-Storm is vital to that process, and no one knows that more than the owner, President, and CEO.  And it all trickles down from there. Our Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, Kaitlin Parramore, decided to reach out to our past and present customers, as well as our potential customers and fan base, and dedicate a video per week to answer questions, give feedback, and offer suggestions as to know how and what to look for when buying a storm shelter.  As we wind down 2016 and gear up for the Spring Tornado Season of 2017, we cannot think of a better way of communicating answers to the many questions and concerns people have over making the decision of purchasing a tornado safe room.It is very difficult to convince someone how owning a storm shelter that provides near absolute protection can provide peace of mind.  Just ask any one of the people in Winston County, Helicon, Alabama and they can tell you.  Or, you can email and ask any questions, or email concerns and Kaitlin will be glad to answer them for you.

Giving people peace of mind and a quality built storm shelter is our business.

Saving lives is the icing on the cake.
