Happy customers in Tom, Oklahoma during the ribbon cutting of their new community safe room
Last Updated: July 28, 2016 We love a great Survive-a-Storm happy customers story!  There is nothing like the feeling of helping people protect themselves from life-threatening storms.  Our latest happy customer story comes from the tiny town of Tom, Oklahoma.  Tom is a small, unincorporated community in the southeast corner of McCurtain County, Oklahoma.  But don’t let its THREE-sentence Wikipedia entry fool you…this place is important!Fire Chief Jerry Bob Grant contacted us last fall and said the words we love to hear: he was interested in protecting the people of Tom with a Survive-a-Storm community storm shelter.

We knew then he deserved to be one of our happy customers!

Our team member, Jeannie got right to work creating a community shelter that would best suit the needs of Tom residents.  The results are amazing!  Since the shelter was installed at the Tom Volunteer Fire Department they have even customized the site to include a bay for fire trucks!  The people of Tom can now rest easy knowing that their community is protected from violent storms!  They recently had a ribbon cutting for the new shelter and Fire Chief Grant informed us that the community residents couldn’t be happier.RIBBON CUTTING AT THE TOM VFD COMMUNITY SHELTER happy customersAnd just so you know, we still have a relationship with Chief Jerry Bob Grant.  Our relationship didn’t end once they received their shelter, but we continue to remain in contact to make sure they are okay.If your community, organization, or business is in need of protection from dangerous weather please call the Survive-a-Storm team today.  We would be happy to speak with you and create a safe room or storm shelter that’s right for your needs.  We are so thrilled that the good people of Tom, Oklahoma trusted Survive-a-Storm!
